I don’t travel to the U.S. very often so I didn’t think it made sense to invest in a NEXUS card. However, I dread that customs line every time I see it. That’s why I was so excited to learn about MPC!
On this day I would’ve missed my flight if I hadn’t discovered the MPC app. It’s a free application by Canadian Border Services that streamlines the traveller entry process into the U.S.
It’s completely free and does not require pre-approval!
Not many people knew about it so the line was virtually empty.
Remember to check if your local airport accepts MPC.
Things to note:
✈️ only Canadian and US citizens can use it per my knowledge
✈️ You can put up to 12 profiles on one phone so it is very efficient for families
✈️ Currently I believe only YYZ, YUL & YVR accept it

United Airlines flight UAL1922 from Houston to Newark on Oct. 9, 2022. N787UA was the 777-200ER to take us to Newark. Three weeks prior to this flight, this plane made viral video status of a sparky takeoff at Newark. Believe it or not, the original plane was a 787-9 Dreamliner. An equipment swap to this 777 took place the day before the flight operated, probably to get a series of domestic revenue flights in after some maintenance.
Got to sit in United Polaris (Yes United sells this as First Class on domestic legs) Seat 6A. Even rows In Polaris are angled towards the aisle but I did my best to get some good shots from the windows.
