Welcome to my Flight-Guide that will guide you from Miami International Airport to the airport in St. Thomas, one of the major US Virgin Islands. One of the best tourist destinations in the Caribbean.
This is one of the best flight connections from USA to US Virgin Islands. Often used by Danish tourists going to see the former Danish Westindies, because there is a good connection with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) coming from Copenhagen to Miami. It arrives early afternoon giving lots of time to transit if you choose American Airlines. Or you can have a nice stayover in wonderful Miami.

Cyril E. King International Airport (IATA: STT, ICAO: TIST, FAA LID: STT) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) west of the central business district of Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. It is currently the busiest airport in the United States Virgin Islands, and one of the busiest in the eastern Caribbean, servicing 1,403,000 passengers from July 2015 through June 2016. The airport also serves nearby St. John and is often used by those traveling to the British Virgin Islands.
Although passports are not required for U.S. citizens who are visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands, all passengers bound for the United States and Puerto Rico must pass through U.S. Customs and Border Protection screening before boarding their flight. Private planes can either use CBP Preclearance or arrive in the United States as an international arrival.
The airport operates one main runway, 7,000 ft × 150 ft (2,134 m × 46 m) long. The terminal operates 11 gates
Saint Thomas (Spanish: Santo Tomás; Dutch: Sint-Thomas; Danish: Sankt Thomas) is one of the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea and, together with Saint John, Water Island and Saint Croix, form a county and constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an unincorporated territory of the United States. Located on the island is the territorial capital and port of Charlotte Amalie. As of the 2010 census, the population of Saint Thomas was 51,634 about 48.5% of the US Virgin Islands total. The district has a land area of 32 square miles (83 km2)

Turning a dream into reality, Adrian Tutein, age 33, is now a pilot with American Airlines, and on Friday he captained AA Flight 1461 to the Cyril E. King Airport.
