Flights To Nashville From Msp

1. Southwest Airlines Flight 549 Landing in Minneapolis (MSP) From Nashville (BNA) on Boeing 737-700

This video shows Southwest Airlines Flight 549 landing at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) arriving from Nashville International Airport (BNA) on April 14, 2022 aboard a Boeing 737-700.

Note, this was a very windy day and we at first attempted to land, but the first attempt failed and the pilot had to go around again to land. That is why the passengers applaud at the end and the flight attendant tried to calm down several people after several threw up due to all of the excitement of the first failed landing. (ALSO NOTE - We have posted the failed 1st landing as well.)

The pilot did great, but the wind gusts were 40+ mph.

Happy Meandering Everyone!

2. From the Flight Deck - Nashville International Airport (BNA)

Nashville International airport is a medium to large sized multi-use airport. It serves air carriers as well as general aviation, cargo operations, and the military. It boasts three parallel runways, as well as an intersecting runway. A complex series of taxiways provides access to terminals, FBOs, and cargo ramps, located on all sides of the airport. This video prepares pilots for hot spots and other challenges at BNA.

FAA's From the Flight Deck video series uses cockpit mounted cameras to capture runway and taxiway footage and combines them with diagrams and visual graphics to clearly identify hot spots and other safety-sensitive items. Learn more at faa.gov/FromTheFlightDeck

Visit faa.gov/bna for supplemental "pilot handbook" information on this airport including airport-specific cautions, information local controllers want pilots to know, airport communications, airspace details, more general best practices, lost communications tips and other preflight planning resources.

This video is informational only and does not replace the pilot’s responsibility to conduct required pre-flight planning in accordance with FAR 91.103.

3. Full Flight: Southwest Airlines B737-700 Baltimore to Nashville (BWI-BNA)

Hey guys! In this full flight video, I fly Southwest Airlines aboard a B737-700 down to Nashville, Tennessee from Baltimore, Maryland! I hadn't flown SWA in over 7 months, and I definitely missed flying them as they are one of my favorites. I love their 2 free checked bags policy, along with their free snacks/drinks, friendly FAs, this flight departed & arrived on time, and I like Southwest's open seat boarding process. Unfortunately, this aircraft wasn't equipped with SW's sky interior and newer seats, just the older ones, but it was still OK. Got very lucky on such a full flight. Always (well...maybe not my next flight) enjoy flying this airline. Hope you guys enjoy!

4. Full Flight: Southwest Airlines B737-800 Chicago-Midway to Nashville (MDW-BNA)

Hey guys! After flying into Chicago O'Hare time after time, I've finally made the trek over to Midway. Today, I'm flying aboard Southwest Airlines on one of their B737-800s down to Nashville, Tennessee! I have to say, my first impressions of Midway were 1. that everything's closed, but 2. that it is literally almost completely dominated by Southwest, and 3. that it is an extremely compact airport which tries to make use of whatever space it has to work with. Midway Airport is a very unique airport and one that I'll definitely be back to in the future. The runways are much shorter than usual meaning that airplanes must use full power on every takeoff and must land almost immediately at the beginning of each runway to be sure to stop in time. It's by no means a dangerous airport, just a very cool airport to fly through as it's just so small. Flying above it really shows you the actual size of MDW. As far as BNA, wow did they do a fantastic job with Concourse D! It definitely has to be one of my favorite jetties now. The flight itself was also very enjoyable, especially because it was so empty and the plane was equipped with Southwest's best product. My expectations were met and exceeded. Hope you guys enjoy!

This video shows Southwest Airlines Flight 1689 landing at Nashville International Airport (BNA) arriving from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) on February 22, 2022 aboard a Boeing 737-800. As you can tell from the low lying clouds, this was a bumpy arrival at BNA.

6. Full Flight: Southwest Airlines B737-700 Nashville to Pittsburgh (BNA-PIT)

Hey guys! Welcome to another Southwest Airlines full flight video! This time I'm aboard one of their B737-700s up to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from Nashville, Tennessee on a very short hour night hop. Southwest has long been one of my favorite US domestic airlines because they always deliver whether it's with their 2 free checked bags, point to point model of flying, friendly flight attendants & pilots, free IFE onboard, free snacks & drinks, and awesome interiors on their newer aircraft. Now, obviously, if you've flown their -700 variants, that last point is not gonna be found, but nevertheless, this was another good flight aboard the LUV airline. The fact that back in August 2020 they still were blocking seats and it was a relatively light flight helped out immensely too. I would always recommend Southwest to anyone, but especially those that have families or are going to a vacation/getaway that requires a lot of luggage - because it'll all be free (up to 2 checked bags, one carry-on, and one personal item that is). 99% of the time, always a good experience on Southwest. Hope you guys enjoy!

9. Full Flight: Southwest Airlines B737-700 Nashville to St. Louis (BNA-STL)

Hey guys! In this full flight video, I travel from Nashville, Tennessee over to St. Louis, Missouri aboard a Southwest Airlines B737-700! After a very nice stay in Nashville for a few days, I was pumped to fly one of my favorite airlines once again...until I stepped onboard and the flight attendant took issue of my filming. I've flown Southwest many, many times now and never once was there an issue with me filming - in fact, before this, I never ever had a crew member try to stop me from filming before this lady (that's 80 flights now). I don't know, maybe she was having a bad day (the whole crew too), but luckily the pilot knew the rules of the skies. Besides this, the rest of the flight was pretty turbulent and cloudy, so couldn't see much (and because of this, there was no drink service). But, there were some pros...wasn't all negative. I really enjoy Southwest and will definitely look past this single flight. Hope you guys enjoy!

Getting our clearance from Air Traffic Control to fly from Destin, FL (VPS) to Nashville, TN (BNA)!

Sometimes ATC speaks quickly! This is the shorthand I use when copying down a clearance to make sure I get all the info 👍

13. Full Flight: American Airlines A321 Nashville to Charlotte (BNA-CLT)

Hey guys! When I said there'd be a whole slew of AA videos, I meant it :D. In this video, I fly aboard an American Airlines (ex-US Airways) A321 over to Charlotte, North Carolina from Nashville, Tennessee! I thought the flight was OK...nothing special...and if these were normal times then it would've been fine for how quick the flight was. But obviously it's 2020. I've routinely put American near the bottom of my safety list in past videos because I thought they did more than Spirit or Allegiant did, but this flight changed that opinion at least for now. The plane was noticeably dirty around the seats and in the lavatories...and I wasn't the only one who noticed this as well. American also hasn't changed their boarding process, they didn't hand out sanitizing wipes on this flight, it was a very full flight as no seats are blocked, they aren't even handing out snacks/drinks in plastic bags taking advantage of the situation, and on top of all these things I arrive to a jam-packed airport in CLT. If you want to feel safe flying during COVID-19, don't fly American unless you have to. The plane itself wasn't much better as it had AA's older hard product which doesn't have any power outlets, touchscreens, USB ports, etc. The crew was OK and the flight did depart/arrive on time, but in general, not the best flight aboard American Airlines, just mediocre. Hope you guys enjoy!
