8. United Airlines Business Class 757-200 Chicago to Edinburgh How to Fly in Style on Your Next Trip
The BIG day is finally here! We are going to Scotland! I can hardly believe it! We have had this trip planned for over two years. We begin our journey at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois.
We will be flying in United Airlines version of First Class. We are in Business class Polaris seats. These tickets allowed us access to the famous Polaris Lounge. If you are interested see the video playlist on Scotland.
O'Hare International Airport is a very large airport and our journey began with a long drive, including a bridge over an interstate, to the place where our journey would begin.
This video includes a seat tour, bathroom tour and the food we were served.
The flight was very nice and we did enjoy it! We finally arrive at Edinburgh, Scotland and our fun and exciting adventure now begins!

10. {HD} [FULL FLIGHT] Newark (EWR) — Chicago (ORD) — United Airlines — Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner — N38955
→ Join me as I experience my very first REJECTED TAKEOFF! This was an exhilarating experience, and I hope it is for you too! It was an absolute birthday miracle that I made this flight — other wise I would have stranded myself in Newark, unable to get home all day (other than buying a ticket on another airline which would have been hella expensive) I still firmly believe the gate agent upgraded the person who was in my seat to business class, just to get me on, but who knows? I know very well this seat was not listed as available at any point. But I was just happy I could get on and get home. We begin at Newark's gate C75 and slowly push back. A quick little hop over to runway 22R and we throttle up for takeoff. Once at 'full throttle', the engines spool down and we slow down. No spoilers needed. We exit runway 22Rto the left, back taxi on a parallel taxiway and try it again. Why do you think this happened? My guess is the takeoff data was inaccurate and not enough thrust was applied to allow for a successful takeoff. I never got a chance to ask the pilots. We make takeoff attempt number 2, this time successful, and soar effortlessly into the low ceiling above, making the classic Newark departure turn. We climb to the northwest over New Jersey and Pennsylvania, then cruise over a small piece of New York, Lake Erie, a bit of Canada, the entirety of Michigan, before descending over Lake Michigan and getting vectored into land on ORD's runway 28C. On the approach, you can hear this almost sloshing noise. I still don't know what that was. It was coming from the bulkhead separating the business class cabin and economy plus cabin. With no remorse, our pilot sets this heavy bird down hard and brakes hard, slowing down very fast. ORD is known for long taxis, and this was no exception. It not that it was "long", it just felt "long" because these widebody pilots like to taxi at 2 knots. For a good reason — the plane is HUGE! But either way, we taxi to gate C20, where this flight comes to an end. As always, all the flight information you could ever desire can be found below!

United flies a 777 both ways between Chicago and Newark multiple times during the year and given how often I visit New York, I was bound to take this flight sooner or later. While the experience didn't start out exactly as I'd hoped, I still enjoyed this flight with United very much. It was also my first time flying on a basic economy fare, which I'll explain more about in the video. Hope you enjoy!

13. 7 HOUR Domestic Flight Across America - Newark to Anchorage
The second leg on my journey to the top of the United States was aboard a United Airlines B757-200 from Newark, New Jersey all the way up to Anchorage, Alaska on an over 7 hour domestic flight across North America. It was certainly one of the longest flights I've taken, not going international and well, it was a little disappointing to say the least...especially in the food department. I'd like to think I'm not the only one to wonder why there wasn't any substantial service offered either complimentary or buy onboard. The seats aren't the greatest themselves either with a noticeably older interior standing out. That coupled with the fact every single seat was taken certainly provided for some major leg stiffness after awhile, but overall...I think it definitely could've been a lot worse and flying the 757 that long again was a treat. So, not bad, not good. Hope you guys enjoy!

→ Join me on the long-dong express with a great engine buzz on our way to Chicago from Newark! This aircraft was originally scheduled to be a 767-300, but due to the 767 going OOS (Out Of Service) last minute, they swapped it for a 757-300 :( I was even going to get first-class if it remained a 767... Guess it gives me something else to chase later on! We begin at Newark's gate C102 and push back a wee bit late. See why below! During my layover, EWR switched from using the 4's to using the 22's, so the taxi to 22R was kinda short. Once given takeoff clearance, we get a great buzzsaw sound and powerfully soar into the skies above Newark, making the classic Newark departure turn, then heading west, giving us a great view of the airport itself. We climb over the state of New Jersey and part of Pennsylvania before cruising over the southern portion of New York, Lake Erie, Ontario, Canada, and Michigan. We begin our descent into ORD over Lake Michigan and get submerged into a thick layer of clouds, lasting almost till landing. This storm was incredibly windy, so we got a lot of rock N' rolling all the way in. We touch down on the runway in Wisconsin, runway 27R, and taxi back to the state of Illinois, where we park at gate C11.
