Flights From Louisville To Atlanta

1. 4K Flight Atlanta, Georgia to Louisville, Kentucky

2. Louisville to Atlanta Early Morning Full Flight!

Thanks for watching this Full Flight Experience! This is the first in a series of four flight experience videos relating to my trip to Denver with my wife Beth. We went for our wedding anniversary and, until the day of our trip, she had no idea where we were going; it was a complete surprise! Follow our journey from our home airport in Louisville, Kentucky to Denver, Colorado and back over an exciting weekend of travel and exploration!

This first video covers the initial flight from Louisville to Atlanta on the route's first flight of the day. The video includes a bit of "concoursing" in Louisville, boarding, taxiing, takeoff, climbing, cruising, approach, landing and taxiing to our gate in Atlanta. We had clear weather for our early morning flight, which took place entirely before dawn.

My apologies for the focus; autofocus is notoriously unreliable in the dark and getting the manual focus just right proved to be a challenge. This is my first Full Flight Experience I've shared and I would love honest feedback in the comments.

Thanks again for watching, and enjoy!

4. {Trip Report} Delta Airlines Boeing 717-200 Louisville (SDF) to Atlanta (ATL)

In this video I traveled to Atlanta for my connection flight to Tampa. This flight was delayed about 2 hours but somehow I managed to make my next flight with 10m left after running with 3 other people in the airport. This was the first time I had ran in an airport.(very embarrassing)

8. Louisville to Atlanta Revisited: Derby Day Departure

Thanks for watching this Full Flight Experience!

In May 2017 I had the opportunity to take a research trip to the Highlands of Scotland and experience some of my favorite locales in the world! There were plenty of opportunities for walking, exploring, and recording my discoveries, and the fun started even before I departed.

This six-part journey started at SDF, my home airport, on a particularly busy day: Derby Day. Louisville is home to the Kentucky Derby, one of the world's best known and most watched sporting events. Here in Louisville, we have several weeks of celebration and events leading up to race day, and while the airport is packed with racegoers and tourists coming to our fair city, not many are on their way out.

This first leg is one I've flown many times before, and even once on this channel! Still, the experience is always an exciting one, if for no other reason than the adventure that starts just an hour and twenty minutes away.

Thanks for flying in, and stay tuned for the upcoming legs of this journey to and from the British Isles!

9. Journey to Tulsa MOE: Flight Take Off From Louisville to Atlanta

I'd always wanted to make a video of a take off like this :) I was on my way to Tulsa for the Hanson MOE on Halloween but had to switch in Atlanta first.

10. Flying On The 737-900ER - Delta 2281- SDF to ATL

Come fly with me as we travel from Louisville to Atlanta aboard a Delta Airlines Boeing 737-900ER, tail number N811DZ. This is the first leg of a fun filled trip to Los Angeles. There were a few hiccups during this flight (dirty window, stubborn infotainment screen, and a departure nearly an hour late), but overall, it wasn't that bad.

The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing at its Renton Factory in Washington. Developed to supplement the Boeing 727 on short and thin routes, the twinjet retains the 707 fuselage width and six abreast seating with two underwing turbofans. Envisioned in 1964, the initial 737-100 made its first flight in April 1967 and entered service in February 1968 with Lufthansa. The lengthened 737-200 entered service in April 1968, and evolved through four generations, offering several variants for 85 to 215 passengers.

The 737-100/200 original variants were powered by Pratt & Whitney JT8D low-bypass engines and offered seating for 85 to 130 passengers. Launched in 1980 and introduced in 1984, the 737 Classic -300/400/500 variants were upgraded with CFM56-3 turbofans and offered 110 to 168 seats. Introduced in 1997, the 737 Next Generation (NG) -600/700/800/900 variants have updated CFM56-7s, a larger wing and an upgraded glass cockpit, and seat 108 to 215 passengers. The latest generation, the 737 MAX, 737-7/8/9/10 MAX, powered by improved CFM LEAP-1B high bypass turbofans and accommodating 138 to 204 people, entered service in 2017. Boeing Business Jet versions are produced since the 737NG, as well as military models.

As of December 2022, 15,576 Boeing 737s have been ordered and 11,264 delivered. Initially, its main competitor was the McDonnell Douglas DC-9, followed by its MD-80/MD-90 derivatives. In 2013, the global 737 fleet had completed more than 184 million flights over 264 million block hours since its entry into service. It was the highest-selling commercial aircraft until being surpassed by the competing Airbus A320 family in October 2019, but maintains the record in total deliveries. The 737 MAX, designed to compete with the A320neo, was grounded worldwide between March 2019 and November 2020 following two fatal crashes.[2]
