1. #117: SHORT FLIGHT - Delta Air Lines Airbus A319 | Fargo to Minneapolis DL2896 | Flight Trip Report
Monday - November 25th 2019, 6pm: Delta Air Lines send me a text saying a winter storm will more than likely interfere with our Thanksgiving travel to Indianapolis on Wednesday November 27th 2019. Free changes were being offered for
Monday - November 25th 2019, 10pm: a long conversation with my partner later, we decided to take up the offer of free the free change and leave 24 hours earlier (Tuesday November 26th 2019).
Tuesday - November 26th 2019, 1am: we are on our way down to Fargo to start our trip, an extra day of a holiday!
Wednesday - November 26th 2019: our original Fargo - Minneapolis is delayed by 7 hours! There was no way we would have made our connecting flight!
This was our story of Thanksgiving 2019: all about flying away from storms, and thankfully being on the good end of it all. Our original itinerary meant we would have flown on 2 A319s (FAR-MSP-IND) with a 39 minute layover, more often than not the exact same plane. However, due to the change in plans and traveling a day earlier, this was not to be.
Due to the short duration of the flight and window view being ruined thanks to de-icing there won't be a startup/take off & landing video.
A quick 4 flight series featuring 3 flights on Delta Air Lines, and one on SkyWest Airlines dba Delta Connection. We took this trip back in November 2019, a quick Thanksgiving trip over to Indianapolis (Indiana) to where my cousins live.
The first flight takes us from Fargo Hector International Airport to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport onboard an Airbus A319-100. 3.5 hour layover afterwards and we'd be onwards to Indianapolis.

2. #120: FLYING THROUGH WINTER STORMS! SkyWest Delta Connection | CRJ-100ER | DL3584 Minneapolis-Fargo
Hello viewers! Now if the thumbnail does not give away... not sure what will! This was a terrifying flight. Given that visibility was a solid 1/4th statute mile, winds gusting up to 50 miles/hour (approximately 45 knots) over at Fargo. While I am not sure of the exact limitations of the CRJ-100/200 series, it was pretty close to the operating limitations.
While Minneapolis/St. Paul was battling one winter storm, there was another even worse winter storm (read: blizzard!) in the upper midwest regions after Thanksgiving 2019. Bismarck, Grand Forks & Fargo saw significantly delays of over 4 hours for each flight due to the need to de-ice before departure.
My girlfriend and I were lucky: this was N809CA's first flight of the day, so it was already at the gate and being readied up. It was one of very few flights that actually left the gate 'on time' that day.
N809CA was a 20 years old Bombardier CRJ-100ER first operated by Comair (under Delta Connection) before being transferred over to SkyWest Airlines (also for Delta Connection). Following a brief period grounded due to COVID-19, N809CA now operates for United Express under SkyWest after Delta decided to no longer offer the CRJ-200s under SkyWest. A good move!
This flight DL3584 from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport to Fargo Hector International Airport. We would spend the night in Fargo before driving up to Grand Forks the next day, after the weather had cleared up.
3. New bus service will connect Fargo flyers to the Minneapolis airport
Passengers headed to connecting Sun Country Airlines flights will be able to take a bus between Fargo and Minneapolis for $15. Other passengers will pay $29.
Liz Thiesse, business development manager for Landline, said tickets can be booked online at landline.com and suncountry.com .

4. #82: REFUELING DELAYS | DELTA AIR LINES | Boeing 717 | JFK to Minneapolis | DL461 Trip Report
The 82nd trip report on my channel, the 2nd of 2018. This one was another stressful flight for me: the Bomb Cyclone had lead to JFK being operationally immobilized. As you'll see, several flights were delayed, passengers were strewn everywhere....and the full trucks were not going, so our flight had to be delayed. And so, I was worried about my connection..... check this out to find out what happened!

5. TRIP REPORT | Delta Airlines - 737 900ER - Denver (DEN) to Minneapolis (MSP) | First Class
Delta's short-medium haul domestic First Class product is arguably the best. The seats are wide and roomy, the service is consistent, and the crew members are friendly.
I had a great experience on this flight up to Minneapolis back in February. Because it was a quick flight, they didn't serve meals... but the snack basket's selection is more than enough to tide you over for an hour or two. I hope you enjoy the trip report!

11. Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport - MSP - Terminal 1 Airport Tour
Thanks for watching this brief tour of Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport!
As a lifelong traveler, I never get tired of the process of boarding a plane going somewhere new and exciting, and one of the little pleasures I enjoy is seeing a new airport on my way to my destination.
Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport serves more passengers than every airport in each neighboring state, and it acts as a hub for Delta Air Lines and its regional affiliate Delta Connection for the Upper Midwest. MSP is a great airport to transit, spend some time in, or start your journey anew, with an interesting layout, lots of options for food and shopping, and good planespotting, too. This regional hub is home to its own airline, Sun Country Airlines, which offers dozens of seasonal destinations.
This tour focuses on the primary terminal of the airport, Terminal 1. This terminal contains seven concourses that serve Delta Air Lines and other airlines, including domestic and international carriers. The airport also features several areas throughout the airport where you can shop and relax.
Whether you've got forty minutes or four hours, MSP has what you need to make your visit pleasant and memorable.
Airports are our gateway to the world, and I hope you enjoy this and other airport tour videos from Miles by Foot!

15. #115 EARLY MORNING RED EYE | Delta Air Lines A320 | New York LaGuardia to Minneapolis | Trip Report!
Disclaimer: thumbnail picture is of an Airbus A319, however as Delta have very similar products across their A320 family of fleet, I decided to use this picture for representation instead.
A quick early morning red eye flight from New York LaGuardia Airport to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport onboard a Delta Air Lines Airbus A320. Flight DL1981 is the first flight between the two airports. It was a quick 2.5 hours flight across, taking off just before sunrise and reaching Minneapolis just after.
This is part of my last few flights of the Spring 2019 series, following this I had a quick layover in Minneapolis and over back to Fargo. I was really tired and started to become a little sick: maybe all that intense traveling perhaps.
No issues with Delta here, fairly standard flight. The crew had it easy as most/all passengers were asleep but they had to conduct service with the lights off! IFE, as always on DL's narrow bodies was amazing. I was not able to recline my seat though....
I enjoyed a few movies while nodding in and out of sleep too...
