Flights From Atl To Houston

1. TRIP REPORT | Delta Airlines - MD 90 - Houston (IAH) to Atlanta (ATL) | First Class

Delta's MD-90s were the backbone of its fleet, operating hundreds of flights daily. Its time has sadly come to an end, as more efficient jets replace the old Mad Dogs.

This particular flight occurred on the last full day of passenger operations for the type, as it was retired the very next day (6/2/20). They are now all stored in Blytheville, Arkansas where they're likely awaiting scrapping.

The onboard experience was extremely comfortable. Since this was during the COVID-19 pandemic, the service was reduced, and cabin capacity was capped at 60%. This showed that Delta is taking precautions much more seriously than other airlines, even if it means losing millions in revenue.

2. Full Flight | Southwest 1971 | Boeing 737-300 | Atlanta to Houston Hobby

Hey there everybody! Here's a bit of a throwback video from my trip to Detroit in July 2016! If you remember, my flight from DTW to ATL the day before this video was diverted to GSP due to inclement weather, which caused me to miss my connecting flight to San Antonio. The next day, I was booked on an itinerary from ATL to SAT through TPA, but the weather from the previous night foiled me again and delayed the ATL-TPA leg by 2 hours. Thus, I talked to a gate agent and got a new routing to SAT through HOU, leaving around the same time. So I scarfed down some Chick-Fil-A and took this little video here. Enjoy!!

Airline: Southwest Airlines, WN
Flight: WN1971
Aircraft: N384SW
Model: Boeing 737-300
Delivered: May 1994

4. Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, Atlanta ATL to Houston Hobby HOU Flight Report, 4K Trip Report

This is a domestic flight trip report from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta, Georgia to William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston, Texas on a Southwest Airlines (plane model: Boeing 737-700) Southwest Airlines Flight 4270. The flight between Atlanta to Houston was around 1 hour and 47 minutes. There are no assign seats or business class on Southwest Airlines. The seats were comfortable and a little spacious.

This journey starts off by riding MARTA Rail Red Line Southbound in Downtown Atlanta to Airport Station. Adjacent to the station is the entrance of domestic terminal. If you are flying international, there is a free shuttle bus right by the station. The shuttle bus will take you directly to the international terminal. In the airport, I've boarded a Southwest flight to Houston Texas (Hobby Airport).

The short flight was great and cheap (almost $200 round trip). There are no assign seats or business class in Southwest Flight. However, you can purchase priority boarding for extra cost. Also, two luggages can fly for free. What I like about Southwest Airlines crew (including the captain) are their sense of humor and enthusiasm.

5. Southwest Airlines: Atlanta, GA (ATL) to Houston, TX (HOU) Full Flight POV & PHX Plane Spotting

September 11th, 2020. (Uploaded here in May 2021)
-Trip Report, solo Vlog, POV recording, photo slideshow, editing. Iphone SE & GoPro Hero 2018.
Full title: "Southwest Airlines - Full Flights POV's: Atlanta, GA (ATL) to Houston, TX (HOU) to Phoenix, AZ (PHX).
-Plane Spotting on the roof of the Terminal 4 parking garage at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Plane Spotting from the south side of Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX).
-Same video on my BitChute (AlmightyKyle): bitchute.com/video/6SuPoNlns6gH/
-Same video is also on my 2nd channel, "The Unknown One".
* The second leg of this [returning home] flight trip (HOU to PHX) is NOT featured, because nothing was filmed or photographed.
Explanation: Sadly, my ATL to HOU flight was delayed by well over an hour. Everything was fine, we originally left the gate on time and were heading for the runway. But there was an argument between an "unruly" passenger and a flight attendant. It was decided that the passenger should be taken off the flight. So we returned to the gate and everyone had to get off the plane. We finally re-boarded and departed for Houston. We obviously arrived very late, so I only had a minute to get off and immediately board my next flight (HOU to PHX). Luckily, we arrived just in time or I would have been screwed. Which meant no window seat for me, but an open aisle seat behind the wing on the right side. Regardless, I couldn't/didn't film anything or take photos. The important thing is that I got home safe and sound. I would get a second chance the next week, once again connecting at HOU. It worked out great that time.
-Instead, enjoy a few minutes of nighttime plane spotting and views from terminal 4 at Sky Harbor. (Southwest Airlines planes parked at the gates, ground crew servicing, the sky train below me, car traffic below me, planes taking off & landing, night lights all around and in the distance.)
-Atlanta, Georgia to Houston, Texas to Phoenix, Arizona.
-Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Houston William P Hobby Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
-ATL to HOU to PHX. ATL-HOU-PHX.
-Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Long distance round trip travel in a single day. Afternoon to evening to night. Brief layovers in between flights. This return trip came after the outbound trip, Phoenix (PHX) to Chicago Midway (MDW) to Atlanta (ATL). Left Arizona in the morning, back home in Arizona at nighttime. Departure and arrival! Boarding passes and fridge magnets are shown at the end.
-Inside the gate, taxi to runway, Takeoff (climb & ascent to cruising altitude), flight attendant announcements after surpassing 10,000 feet.
Snack and drink service, Landing (descent & final approach), touchdown on runway, flight attendant "welcome" announcements, taxi to the gate, parking.
-Awesome views [behind the wing, from the window seat] of: downtown Atlanta, over Alabama/Mississippi/Louisiana, clear sunny sky above the cloud layers, heavy cloud formations, New Orleans & Gulf of Mexico in distance, Eastern & Southern Texas, beautiful sunset, night lights, downtown Houston in distance.
Appalachian Highlands, East Gulf & West Gulf Coastal Plains, Intermontane Plateaus.
-Seats, tray tables, flaps, landing gear, terminals, fun solo getaway, passengers, pilots, desert valley, mountains, lakes & rivers, oceans, plains, farms, rolling hills, Appalachian mountains, trees, freeways & cars, people.
-My first time at Atlanta's airport since the summer of 2010!! Only for connecting flights, still haven't visited the city itself or the state of Georgia in general. Largest hub for Delta Airlines!
-My second time at Houston's Hobby Airport (first was in November 2018. CHS to HOU to PHX flight trip, returned home). My third would be the following week. Still haven't visited the city itself or the state of Texas in general.

7. Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800, Houston Hobby HOU to Atlanta International ATL, 4K Flight Report

This is a domestic flight trip report from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston Texas to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta Georgia (plane model: Boeing 737-800) on Southwest Airlines 656 that departed at 7 a.m. US Central Time. The duration of this fight was 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I've purchased the "Wanna Get Away" fare for $220 roundtrip (including two free check bags). My boarding position was B-39. As I board the plane, the front of the plane was full, but there were some empty seats at the back.

This particular nonstop route is one of the top Southwest Airline routes. Almost everyday (and every flight), the plane is usually full. For more information about this route, checkout the Southwest flight from HOU to ATL: southwest.com/routes/flights-from-houston-hobby-to-atlanta

14. Full Flight: Delta Air Lines A350-900 Seattle to Atlanta (SEA-ATL)

Hey guys! Time for a full flight special. In this video, I fly aboard a Delta Air Lines A350-900 for the first time along with a bunch of aviation enthusiasts from around the country. It also just so happened to be the captain's retirement flight so what would've been an ordinary flight had a ton of different things to go along with it. I truly enjoyed this flight down to Atlanta from Seattle as the A350 is a remarkably smooth, quiet, and graceful airplane. Delta has their best hard product on these birds as they're now the flagship of the airline and it is 95% really good. The only hiccup I'd mention is the Economy seats...specifically the upper half of them. Is it just me or do they look a bit strange? Other than that, I really enjoyed flying with a bunch of folks just like me and enjoyed all the festivities and announcements surrounding the captain's retirement. A full list of everyone on the flight can be found at the end of this video on the end screen and links are below. Hope you guys enjoy!
